We are INDIANS

Hello everyone..
I am writing this blog to express grief and sorrow for what happened in Mumbai on 26th November. I was sitting in my hostel room & suddenly around midnight I heard the news of Mumbai blasts and when I saw it on the net I was stunned and traumatized. Every time I watched the video my heart sank. was feeling very low and depressed. by each millisecond the situation was getting worse and worse. death toll was rising every minute intensifying the refrained rage and anger of so many years. just by imagining of those people confronting with this, i quivered with terror. The next three days were very sickening and appalling, watching news, bulletins, and videos saddened me more....

There is a phrase " JO HOTA HAI ACHE KE LIYE HOTA HAI" A wakeup call was needed for the whole nation. I remember a dialogue from Rang De Basanti-"Bahro ko dhamake ki zarurat hoti hai". It’s now or never.

What we see today in the newspapers is the consequence of the terror attack: candlelight vigils, SMSes reflecting the anger at the inept government, people sloganeering, carrying out demonstrations. Twenty thousand people gathered at gateway of India expressing their annoyance and ire in response to the vicious attack. The intensity of the outrage led to the politicians losing their jobs in matter of days. We all have realized that either we follow gandhigiri: forgive and forget or we become the change we want to see. Either we allow the terrorists to molest India time and again or we stand up and take action. A change from “why do I bother attitude” is needed or we have to get use to these assaults. But the question here is how long this wrath going to last? Is this an end or a beginning? Are people going to forget it and wait for another 26/11 to happen? Is our political system going to transform? When are we going to learn from our mistakes?

As the time passes the wounds will heal, this attack will be overlooked and we will move on.. This is what we have been doing for years.. But now we have to stop and look into the matter and find a solution. Politicians have to stop the blame games and anger and hatred need to be channelized in a positive and right direction. The politics is no long a business venture it’s the noble service that require concern and dedication. We dont need their assertions or condolences or sympathies, we demand action. India has seen one of its fiercest terror attacks. Terrorists delivered their message that "ab hum tumhare ghar mein ghuske tumhe marenge". It’s time to show those bastards what we INDIANS are capable of.. and if these politicians can’t do something for the country then they should better resign and sit back in their comfortable couches of their official residence.. The attack has brought us closer and we stand more united than ever, united in love and support to each other. we are neither north indian or south indian neither muslim, hindu, sikh or christian. We are Indians. In this hour of crisis we need to stand together and let the rays of hope live in our heart. "Every cloud has a silver lining"............
